Metagenomic Micro-Webinar (Sept 26th, 2023): Unlocking the Potential of mNGS without Host Interference

Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) is gaining popularity because it has the ability to provide faster and more accurate identification of all types of known and unknown pathogens. Yet, mNGS is not yet widely used. Why? The major reason – host interference.

Host depletion is a critical and necessary step to advance the ubiquitous use of mNGS. Until now, techniques to remove host interference inconsistently recovered microbial DNA for downstream analyses, were time consuming, or required large amounts of template DNA that are often unavailable.
